Ashby Insider is a free weekly email and website for Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Moira, Measham, Donisthorpe, Woodville, Packington and nearby. Readers open it for what’s on, what’s changed and what’s worth knowing, so a local business or club gets seen by local people.

We keep it simple: one sponsor per issue and clearly labelled ads. We’d rather have one sponsor that readers notice than a page full of banners.

🧾 Ways to advertise

Bundle: newsletter sponsor and website sponsor for the same 4 weeks for £100.

Charities and community groups: registered charities, Scout and Guide groups, school PTAs, sports clubs and other not-for-profit community groups pay half price.

🌱 Founding advertisers: the first 10 businesses or groups to book before 31 January 2027 get half price on their first 4 weeks and keep these prices for 12 months, however much the list grows. You’ll also get a thank-you in the newsletter. This can’t be combined with the charity rate, and your first booking must start by 28 February 2027.

No VAT charged. All prices are in pounds and are what you pay.

Prices as we grow: these are launch prices while we have fewer than 500 subscribers. The newsletter sponsor price goes up to £40 per issue at 500 subscribers and £60 at 1,500, and the other prices rise in step. We’ll give two months’ notice, and anything you’ve already booked and paid for keeps its price.

Audience figures: we launched in October 2026, so the list is small and growing. We’ll publish subscriber numbers and typical open rates here every month. We won’t guess.

• Clear, honest copy. Sponsored content is always labelled “Sponsored”.
• Sponsors don’t get a say in what we write about them or anyone else.
• No political advertising, gambling, payday loans, vapes or anything that breaks the CAP Code.
• We can say no to any ad.

2. We’ll reply with available dates and what we need from you (logo, words and link). Please send these at least 5 days before your issue.
3. You check a preview before it goes out. We’ll email an invoice, payable by bank transfer before your ad runs. If you cancel at least 7 days before, you get a full refund.
